For the next 13 years, Nina was passed from one pimp to another, who advertised her for sex on the internet and subjected her to verbal and physical abuse.</p> <h2>Application of Social Learning Theory to the Victimization Case</h2> <p>One theory that can explain the actions depicted in the article is Social Learning Theory. According to this theory, individuals learn behavior through observation and imitation of others, particularly those who are close to them or those they consider important in their lives. In Nina's case, she may have learned that running away from home was a viable option to escape her troubled home life, but this led her to become vulnerable to the woman who offered her a place to stay and ultimately led her into prostitution. The woman may have been a more powerful and influential figure in Nina's life at that moment, and her behavior of exploiting young girls for sex may have been learned through observation and imitation of others who engaged in similar activities.</p> <p>Social Learning Theory also suggests that individuals can be influenced by the consequences of their behavior in shaping their future actions. In Nina's case, the rewards of having a place to stay and being offered the false promise of a better life may have outweighed the consequences of being forced into prostitution. Furthermore, the fear of being physically and verbally abused by her pimps and the inability to escape her situation may have perpetuated her involvement in prostitution.</p> <h2>References</h2> <p>Coppedge, S.
