Yet the feedback I got pointed to a need for more specific examples and reflection on how I either show or do not show leadership behaviors. In this revised version, while still drawing from my professional and personal life, this feedback is much more specific and concrete than before. For instance, I have written about how to communicate project goals to my team on a difficult assignment, navigate conflicts, and maintain productivity. These changes are closer to what is required for the assignment.

A key aspect for improvement is the expansion of specific leadership behaviors. For example, in the section on communication, I mentioned that I am a good communicator. The feedback suggested that I illustrate this with a real-life example. I have done that by describing how I successfully communicated project goals to my team on a particularly challenging assignment. Likewise, I broadened my capacity to resolve problems by recollecting when I arbitrated between team members to maintain productivity.

Critical Reflection on Leadership Strengths, Weaknesses, and Development

The other significant feedback-based adjustment was a need for self-reflection on areas where I did not perform well. I did not discuss my weaknesses in the original submission, but the feedback helped me balance them out. In the revised version, I am more candid about my struggle with delegation and gave an example of how my reluctance affected team efficiency. This self-awareness is honest, and I am committed to personal growth. Also, I added more references and citations where necessary throughout the plan.

This revised assessment incorporates this feedback and meets the learning outcomes by presenting my critical evaluation of my leadership skills, applying theoretical concepts in real-life situations, and clearly understanding my strengths and areas for improvement. The structured approach with detailed examples makes a complete self-assessment, which meets the assignment's objectives and helps me learn more about leadership development.
