We can also set boundaries for technology use in the classroom by creating clear guidelines for appropriate usage and encouraging students to take breaks from screens during the day.</p> <h2>Empirical Evidence on Screen Time and Its Influence on Student Behaviour</h2> <p>Technology is indeed playing a significant role in changing students' habits and behaviour. A study shows that youth aged 7 to 20 years spend an average of 8 hours using entertainment media. Similarly, another study found that teens spend an average of nine hours per day using media for entertainment purposes (Strom, 2021).</p> <h2>Integrated Educational Approaches for Sustainable Digital and Social Skill Development</h2> <p>These findings highlight the importance of setting boundaries for technology use in schools and at home. As educators, it is our responsibility to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age by balancing the benefits of technology with the need for face-to-face interaction and human connection.</p>
